Nr. 122. Eagle-clock, powerful symbolism in gilt and patinated bronze, Charles X, ca 1840. Eight day spring driven movement with striking the hour and half hour on a bell, silk suspended pendulum. White enamel chapter ring, bezel decorated with flowers. On a three-sided plinth rises a column on witch an eagle landed with spread wings. The eagle bears the clock/the time. Decorative and symbolic sculpture. Height 34 cm. Price € 1.250, ---
