Fine gilt bronze French carriage clock, signed Le Paute à Paris, dated 1809. Eight-day going, half hour striking on a bell, central date indication, knife suspended pendulum. Clip to fix the pendulum during transport. Fire gilt case with carrying handle on the top, all around glass windows. In terms of style a very pure travelling clock and fine quality movement of a renound maker. Date in code notation: 9 + 8 stands for August (8) and 1809 (9). Dimensions HxWxD 23x15,5x12 cm.
