Rare French industrial clock, a so-called
No. Rare French industrial clock, a so-called "Steam Pump" machine, circa 1880. Technically very inventive made clock known in the literature as "Steam Pump". Clock with an 8 day movement and platform escapement, barometer. The big wheel rotates, while the two small balls horizontally twirls, the pump moves up and down. This technical ingenuity item stands on a red marble base. Important piece of the industrial age, expression of the progress in technical possibilities.
