Viennese carriage clock signed Philipp Fertbauer, late 18th century. Gilt brass case with white enamel dial and polychrome flower decorations. Glass windows on the sides. The timepiece with fusee has a duration of 40 hours. Quarter striking on request (pull repeat) on bells. Separate indication of the date. Signed on the front and back. Became master watchmaker in 1795. From 1795 to 1815 he was the lid of the watchmakers' guild and from 1804, at times also head. The famous master watchmaker died on June 7, 1820 in Vienna.
