Mahogany veneered case with linear maple inlays, silvered dial with Roman numerals, hour and minute hands, brass movement with Graham escapement, duration 30 days. Signature on the dial ‘Ph.Happacher in Wien’. A rare quality: The clockmovement is enclosed in a glass enclosure to keep the clockwork dust free. Very fine specimen in a good condition and good working . HxWxD 108x28x12 cm. Price on request. The Viennese clockmaker Philippe Happacher (Vienna, master and citizen 1818, died 1843) is one of the best and famous masters of clockmaking industry 1800-1850 in Vienna.
